Joanna Meyer
Growing up in the Mexican Caribbean is a big part of me and who I am. Mexico was my happy place for many years. When I moved back to Geneva many encounters followed and my curiosity during University years led me to yoga. At that point, I couldn’t have imagined the richness my evolving practice would bring to my life, especially mentally and spiritually. Yoga makes me feel light and rooted at the same time, balanced, joyful and free.
I’ve been practicing for over 10 years and Yoga has helped me grow stronger, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more truthfully and mindfully. I will always be a student and I’m deeply grateful for the teachings and loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me, and for the people I’ve met in this wondeful journey.
I work hard to teach creative vinyasa sequencing, with a spirit of playfulness. I’m passionate about sharing and passing on what I have learned in life through yoga. Seeking inspiration in life and communicating with others is what I stand up for. While I accompany you to deepen your practice, I will do my best to show you how to nurture your body, mind and soul through yoga. I encourage you to explore this ever-changing and evolving place.
